CBM&S is a law firm located at 14 Penn Plaza specializing in general law. They handle a wide variety of cases and wanted their office to reflect their diverse clientele. The office is quite large including a reception area, a large boardroom, two conference rooms and one huddle room, an open and inviting pantry, many private offices, two new private restrooms, and a space for lectures.

The firm was seeking an inviting yet sophisticated office space. The entrance and the three main conference rooms were elevated by adding picture frame molding to the walls and applied mullions to the conference room fronts. The pantry, visible from reception, is an inviting space that serves as a waiting area and a place for the office to gather. The walnut laminate used gives warmth and texture to the space. The picture frame moldings accents continue into the two private restrooms. The contrast between the dark herringbone tile floors and the black vanity evokes a high-end elegance with the small private spaces. The faux wood LVT flooring was installed in the reception area and continues throughout the office, down the corridors to all the private offices tying the entire space together. The offices themselves are kept minimal with carpet tile but the exposed HVAC was painted black as a distinct dramatic feature.
